HICO's foundation is rooted in the professional journey of Engr. Imran Qayyum, who began his career in the poultry industry in 2000 as a Head of Electrical & Ventilation Engineer.
Over the past 25 years, he has supervised and contributed to more than 250 poultry projects across Pakistan, covering broiler, breeder, and layer farming operations. His experience includes overseeing 32+ European layer cage system installations, along with one of the country's most significant projects — the 2.2 million layer cage installation at SPPL Chakri, Pakistan.
Drawing on this extensive field and engineering expertise, HICO (Hamza Imran & Co.) was formally established in 2015 as a dedicated poultry housing consultancy firm. Since its inception, HICO has provided independent consultancy services nationwide, specializing in:
